Savannah, Georgia is just about one of the best places in the world to encounter the spirit of someone from a generation gone by. I'm going to feature quite a few locations from Savannah in the future, but today I am going to focus on Colonial Park Cemetery. The cemetery dates back to the 1750's and is the final resting place of over 10,000 people. Sadly, many of the graves are not marked, so we will never know all of who are buried there. Not only is it the burial site of many, it is also the death place of some as well. Reports of hangings, dueling and more have taken place in the cemetery though these reports are disputed by some.
Today, Colonial Park Cemetery is known as one of the most haunted locations in Savannah. Shadowy figures, strange mists, floating orbs, apparitions, cold spots and more have been reported. The cemetery is also one of the best location's for capturing EVP, one of the most exciting parts of ghost hunting!
